Day 177 – June 27. “This is not a mustache!” Magritte is an odd artist well worth revisiting sometime. Without imposing any style or direction, his work draws the viewer in a subtle and mysterious universe, familiar and yet very foreign. Maybe the olives – (still there) – made me do it… Surfer>Quaste equation. PSD>swirl, layer effect.
Day 175 – June 25. Intriguing – I had the irrepressible urge to introduce an olive in this image. Where did it come from? Somewhere in between the mystery and fun – of the artmaking process maybe? Capture what’s floating around without asking too many question… PSD>3D layer, layer effect.
Day 172 – June 22. Every action calls for a reaction. Using the same original elements, I revisited the previous violent image to reconstruct some harmony. Maya> torus>texture. PSD>layer effect.
Day 171 – June 21. This is one image I am not sure I like much. Somehow, I feel compelled to post it. After all, this is a visual diary as well and every day is not a shiny day! Plastered is what come to mind – maybe the background texture? Maya>cylinder>texture. PSD>layer effect.
