Day 271 – September 29. Fun! It looks like one of the knife – palette monoprints I used to do. No turpentine, no instrument & finger cleaning this time! PSD>FP filters, filters – distort, layer effect.
Day 269 – September 27. Again, the problem I have with 3D: images are so clear and well defined – it calls for a linear narrative, a story of some sort. But the art process is much more encompassing. Often the storytelling side of 3D slows the spontaneous flow of creativity on a flat 2D surface.
Day 267 – September 25. Interesting – the artist studio image of yesterday evolved into a small medieval chapel altar as seen from the other side of a stainglass window. The power of the cross maybe? I was just exploring some tessellation…. I had to bring back this little cup from May 1st image to complete the look. I have been referencing artists, past artworks of mine now I am starting to reference images from this portfolio. One year is a lot of images…CP>tile. PSD>layer effect.
